Magnetic-coded identification

Easy identification without programming effort

Magnetic-coded identification sensors from SICK are specially designed for reading magnetic-coded tags and are particularly well-suited for simple identification tasks as are used in tool or format changes, for example. Thanks to the pre-coded magnetic tags, programming effort is reduced since the tags do not first have to be written. The magnetic-coded identification sensor and the tag(s) simply have to be attached to the desired position(s), then they’re ready to go.
